Weekly KPI Email Report Update

An update to the weekly KPI email brings historical data for comparison to the past weeks performance. We also include the current diary status which details the amount and value of overdue and future opportunities. If you would like to receive these weekly reports for your dealership or group, please make a request using the contact page including your dealer code and email address. Printed Reports Improvement, Workshop Management

A brief update this morning brings much improved print layouts to Electronic Workshop Management. Use the Print option on the File Menu or click the ‘Print’ icon at the top right of Internet Explorer to print any screen. A well formatted report will delight your parts & service departments.

Todays update to the EVHC Performance report brings an activity list for all actions in Workshop Management. It includes parts stock status, time to price and detailed sales advisor activity. See the attached image for more information.

HOW TO: Alert Parts to Pick Stock

The Vehicle Health Checking system has been upgraded to allow part picking lists for each job on the EVHC system. This will greatly improve communications between the service and parts departments if used correctly. Find out more in this informative post. For Service Advisors:

When marking a job as authorised/sold, use the “Request parts to pick stock” check box to send an alert to parts of a stock pick request.

For the Parts Department:

A vehicle with a stock pick request will be highlighted with a blue line. Click the vehicle information bar to expand the jobs for the vehicle. Items with a shopping trolley icon under the ‘Stock?’ header require picking. Once picked, click the trolley icon and select save. This will clear the job line indicating that it has been saved successfully.

If there is no stock, select no stock and press save. The job will remain in the picking list until it is marked as picked.

How To: Hide Prices on Health Check Reports

A brief guide on how to remove the price of an advised item on the Health Check report. This feature has been implemented within the Electronic Workshop Management system on the Customer Tab. See a demonstration image below or click read more.

Expand the details of a health check by clicking on the vehicle line. Advised items from the tech will then be displayed.
Click the “Outcome?” button and select either Sell, Lose or Defer options.
On the window that appears, you will see the option to “Hide value on Health Check?”. Check the box and press save. The fitted price will no longer show on the Customer Health Check Report.

Notes, Reminders & Tyres Tabbed Box

An update today brings a tabbed box to the Customer tab of Workshop Management. We noticed that the screen was becoming a little cluttered and a quick and simple way to add notes & reminders was needed. This tab cures that issue. See a demonstration image below or click read more.

Updated: Printed Visual Health Check Customisation

The Electronic Vehicle Health Check print out can be customised for your specific customer requirements. The title can be changed, along with colours and items shown. You may select “Show Green Items?” and “Show Total Box?” to refine the appearance of the report. Use the Settings panel on the Electronic Workshop Management page to adjust these settings.

After meeting with over 50 of our dealers recently, we found that one of the biggest requests was an option to print different types of health checks from any point in Workshop Management. From now on, if you right click on any existing print icon or link, you will have an option of exactly what type of health check to print (parts, customer, black and white, etc).

Redesigned Deferred Contact Diary

We have been working on a new easier to use deferred contact diary over the past few weeks. It includes the current functionality of the diary, but is simpler to use and easier to understand. This is now available as promised. For a brief explanation of features, please see the images included after the break.

4: If you make any ammendments to the contact information, click save to confirm your changes.
5: Previously completed Electronic Vehicle Health Checks will appear here. You can view the contact information or outstanding work of the previous Check by clicking the relevant Health Check icon.

Quick Selection for Tyre Sizes

At Autoconnect we work hard to make EVHC an easier product for you to use. Our new tyre size input should do just that. For your convenience the system will now generate a list of the top 10 tyre sizes based on the vehicle make and model selected. If the tyre size fitted is not in the list, simply tap ‘other’ to input the size you require or select the closest option and edit as necessary.
